Allow me to tell you a story my friends…a true one at that.
Once upon a time a couple of crazy monkeys descended upon this lovely and happy family. It was a festive and happy time for the family with the holidays upon them, and little did they know that these two adorable, yet crazy monkeys carried a very dark and evil presence. When the holidays were over, low and behold many members of the family all received gifts that simply would not keep giving.
On a very calm quiet night it all began. A sweet curly haired little mutant…ahem
Sweet Little Mutant
Woke in a flash…and much to the amazement of a sleep deprived mama a baby mutant was sick. His poor little body was invaded and with his daddy at work his mama swooped in to rescue him. She cradled and cooed him, hushed him and soothed him, and even though she was exhausted she took care of the sweet little mutant.
Apparently the little demons weren’t finished and they went on a vicious attack, and three boxes of tissues later, a handful of hours of sleep, and three work days completed…all with a daddy gone at work. The poor mama cried from being so sick. It isn’t easy being a mama, especially to a little mutants.
Exhausted and snarfly the mama took a moment to check her email….and to her amazement saw that THE FAIRY HOBMOTHER had visited her! Who is this FAIRY HOBMOTHER you ask? Well she is an amazingly sweet little sprite who comes and visits good little blogs on the internet (Ahem ME!) and waves her pretty sparkly wand and grants a wish.
If you are completely lost the mama is me, and it has been a rough start to this new year. While this is a fairy tale come true it is also very real. It was on another blog I commented that if I was ever visited by the Fairy Hobmother that I would love to get a camera, one that would allow me to indulge in a new photo hobby, and to be able to preserve all the cuteness that is The Mutant!
The Fairy Hobmother told me that while she couldn’t send me a camera, that she would love to give me an Amazon gift card for $50.00 that I could use toward a camera. Such a sweet sweet gesture, and completely unexpected. After my week I could use some good unexpected surprises.

When The Fairy Hobmother isn’t waving her wand and granting wishes she works at Appliances Online a UK based company that has anything and everything for your house! Personally I would love to order one of their front loader washing machines since mine has decided to skip the spin cycle lately!!! Leave a comment and make a wish folks!!

I've wished on stars. I've wished on wishbones. I've wished on the clock at 11:11. I have wished on eyelashes, and birthday candles.
But now that I am facing divorce I sort of have more reasonable wishes than ever before. Throw pillows & towel sets. New bed sets and tv stands. The things new lives are built of.

We are about to redo our entire kitchen, so I've got a long wishlist! Mama wants a new dishwasher, a new fridge, some new countertops and some wood flooring too!
